For most of my life, I have heard people talk about the feeling of "I am not good enough". This phrase is common amongst many of us, and it does not matter if you are rich, poor, successful, unsuccessful it is something that we have taken on board, so enjoy my talk and maybe it just may set you free.
I have many clients who have been and still do attend sessions with psychologists, counsellors, psychiatrists, and other forms of talking therapies over months and even years.
We discuss the difference between MindShift action therapy and talking therapies and include ACT and CBT and how they are different but also complement each other.
Sometimes MindShift will not work for people, and in this video, I explain why. It is a straightforward answer - people think their old thinking can fix the problems, (anxiety, depression, addiction) their old thinking created.
This is the core reason MindShift will not work for them, they are still trying to control their outcomes, and it will never work for them.
This gives an overview of how we created MindShift
In this video I discuss where MindShift evolved from and how it came to be.
Over the last 32 years, I have worked with many people, and one of my observations is of people saying that they have had enough and want to change but then noticing their fear stopping them from changing. This fear is driven by the negative emotions held within us and these emotions have been within us for so long they do not want to leave.
In life, we are always having people telling us and expecting us to behave in certain ways, act in certain ways, do this, or do that. These messages start to impact us, and we start to not trust ourselves because and wonder who are we meant to be.
We instinctively know who we are and we can again understand who we are and what we want to achieve in life. We need to be honest with ourselves, and MindShift gets us back to that place we long to be.
What are skeletons in the cupboard? When we hold on to our secrets, these secrets create our fear, anxiety, depression, anger, and addiction.
In life, many of us wonder why we are always negative, anxious, depressed, and we keep pointing the finger at everyone but ourselves.
