Depending on how you interact with MindShiftWorks, we may collect:

Your role, business or organisation.
Information you voluntarily provide through assessments, booking forms, enquiries, emails, conversations or participation in MindShiftWorks.
Information about what led you to contact MindShiftWorks and what you would like to understand or change.
Appointment, service and communication records.
Website information such as your device, browser, IP address, pages visited and interactions with the website.
Payment and transaction information when you purchase a service.

Please provide only information you feel comfortable sharing through an online form.

Why we collect your information

Provide the Private Recognition Assessment and related reflection.
Arrange and prepare for a Private Executive Reset Call.
Consider whether MindShiftWorks may be appropriate for your circumstances.

Send MindShiftWorks information when you have chosen to receive it.

Providing personal information is generally voluntary. However, if required contact or booking information is not provided, we may be unable to arrange a conversation or provide the requested service.

Sensitive or personal information

Some people may choose to provide information about personal experiences, relationships, emotional patterns, health, alcohol or drug use, or other sensitive matters.

Please provide only what you consider necessary and feel comfortable sharing.

We use this information for the purpose for which it was provided, including preparing for a requested conversation, considering whether MindShiftWorks may be appropriate, or delivering an agreed service.

MindShiftWorks does not use assessment or booking responses to provide a clinical diagnosis.

Information provided by people in Australia

MindShiftWorks works with people in Australia and may collect personal information from Australian residents.

Where applicable, we handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Act 1988, the Australian Privacy Principles and applicable state health-information requirements.

Information concerning physical or psychological health, emotional wellbeing, alcohol or drug use, or related experiences may be considered sensitive or health information under Australian law.

MindShiftWorks collects this information only when it is reasonably necessary for the requested conversation or service and when you have chosen or consented to provide it.

You are not required to provide detailed sensitive or health information through an online form. You may wait and discuss it directly with Paul during your conversation.

Who may receive your information

Your information may be accessible to Paul Heffernan and to service providers used to operate MindShiftWorks, where access is reasonably necessary.

These providers may include:

Kajabi, which hosts the MindShiftWorks website, forms, assessments and email functions.
Calendly, which manages appointment scheduling and booking information.
Providers of email, video conferencing, payments, analytics, document storage and administration.
Professional advisers where reasonably necessary.
Government, regulatory or law-enforcement authorities when disclosure is required by law.

MindShiftWorks does not sell your personal information.

Storage and overseas service providers

MindShiftWorks is operated from New Zealand and uses online service providers that may store or process personal information in New Zealand, Australia, the United States and other countries in which those providers operate.

When information is processed outside the country in which it was collected, different privacy laws may apply.

MindShiftWorks takes reasonable steps when selecting and using service providers, protecting personal information and limiting access to people or providers who reasonably require it.

However, no internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

Marketing communications

We will send promotional or ongoing marketing emails only where you have provided consent or where otherwise permitted by law.

Booking a conversation or completing an assessment does not automatically require you to subscribe to marketing emails.

You may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link provided in an email or by contacting MindShiftWorks.

Cookies and website information

The MindShiftWorks website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, understand how visitors use it and improve its performance.

Your browser may allow you to block or delete cookies. Some website functions may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.

Retention and security

MindShiftWorks takes reasonable organisational and technical steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.
